Get to know us over the last 50 years!
In 2024 UCC-APC is celebrating its 50th anniversary! For the last 50 years, we have united over 450,000 Ukrainians in Alberta. In 1974, the Ukrainian Canadian Committee (now UCC-APC) was formed as a non-profit society by the following Ukrainian organizations: UCC-Edmonton, UCC-Calgary, UCC-Vegreville, Ukrainian Catholic Brotherhood, Ukrainian Self-Reliance League, League of Ukrainian Catholic Women, Ukrainian National Federation, League for the Liberation of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Professional and Businessmen’s Club.
The text below represents a glimpse into our board and history from 1974 to 2024. Over the years, we have worked hard to ensure that Ukrainians are equally and fairly represented in Alberta. We have also cherished and implemented our rich culture and traditions into our community.
We are excited to see what our future holds for us and the positive impact we will continue to have on our community.
