DAY 14: Today we are presenting the Interment resource links that are designed for anyone working on Internment, especially teachers, school administrators, and school boards. The resources feature stand-alone teaching materials, lesson plans and assignments that promote critical thinking skills and foster the development of values and attitudes that enable students to participate actively and responsibly as citizens in a changing and pluralistic society.

Canada’s first national internment operations is part of the Programs of Study – Social Studies (10–12) and Ukrainian Language Arts 10-20-30.

The Critical Thinking Consortium developed the Pivotal Voices series that were funded by the Endowment Council of the Canadian First World War Internment Recognition Fund.

These resources “Recognizing a Historic Injustice: Canada’s First National Internment Operations, 1914-1920” (in English and French) support learning about multiple perspectives on significant historical events by Developing Understanding through the Art.
Designed for students in grades 4 to 9, these resources feature nine lessons that use visual and dramatic arts to nurture student understanding of Canada’s First National Internment Operations, 1914–1920. This resource is available for free courtesy of a grant from the Endowment Council of the Canadian First World War Internment Recognition Fund.

Тема перших канадських операцій інтернування 1914-1920 років є частиною програми навчання, а саме історії (10–12 класи) та програми української мови 10–20–30.

Консорціум із критичного мислення розробив серію матеріалів «Основні голоси», що фінансувалася Радою з питань підтримки Канадського фонду визнання інтернування під час Першої світової війни.

Ресурси «Визнання історичної несправедливості: Перші національні операції в Канаді, 1914-1920 рр.» (англійською та французькою мовами) допомагають всебічно вивчати важливі історичні події, формуючи розуміння через мистецтво.

Матеріали містять дев’ять конспектів уроків, створених для учнів 4 – 9 класів із використанням візуального та драматичного мистецтва для кращого сприйняття теми канадських перших національних операцій інтернування 1914–1920 років. Цей ресурс доступний безкоштовно завдяки ґрантам Канадського фонду визнання інтернування під час Першої світової війни.
