The Ukrainian Canadian Congress – Alberta Provincial Council invites all members of the Ukrainian Community to join us for our Annual General Meeting. Our council represents 367,000 Albertans of Ukrainian descent. UCC-APC board includes representatives of 17 provincial organizations. Registration of delegates will begin at 6:30 p.m. The AGM will begin at 7:00 p.m. Refreshements will be served.

In this class you will be provided step-by-step instruction on how to make kolachi, pampushky, scuffles, rohalyky, and khrustyky. Participants will learn hands-on about the customs, traditions, and rituals practiced during this celebration. You will also be provided with recipes for each and will take home samples. You must bring containers to bring your samples home, all other supplies are provided.
Anna Kozak is a professional musician of Ukrainian heritage. She is a violinist with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and Alberta Baroque Ensemble. Anna has worked as a classical musician for two decades and has very rarely come across classical instrumental music by Ukrainian composers being performed in Canada. There will be a candle lighting with representatives of the Alberta Government, the Ukrainian Canadian Community and a Survivor of the Holodomor.The choir from the bilingual schools will perform.
