Ukrainian Pioneers Park Internment Panel Unveiling, Calgary, Alberta

On Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM, Canada’s newest Internment panel will be unveiled at Ukrainian Pioneers Park, 600 block of 7th Avenue NE, Calgary (across from the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church). This interpretive panel will commemorate the thousands of Ukrainians and other affected communities who were unjustly interned during Canada’s first national internment operations of 1914 to 1920.
The event is organized by the Ukrainian Canadian Civil Liberties Foundation.
