Now in it’s second season, Ukrainian Film Festival in Edmonton (UFFE) is proud to present six contemporary, acclaimed, and award-winning Ukrainian films over three days in April at Edmonton’s Metro Cinema. Admission for all films is free.
All films are subtitled in English. Film languages include Ukrainian, Russian, English, Polish, Latin, French, Crimean Tatar.
Opening on Friday April 12 with 2024’s OSCAR® winner for Best Documentary, 20 Days in Mariupol, Ukraine’s first ever OSCAR® winning film, the Festival features three documentaries, two dramas, and one comedy.
Ukrainian filmmakers will be in attendance for audience questions following afternoon films on Saturday April 13 and Sunday April 14.
