Candlelight Vigil for Ukraine

Vegreville, AB (February 14, 2024) – A candlelight vigil to observe and reflect upon the solemn milestone of 730 days of Ukrainian resistance will be held in Vegreville, AB, on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
All are welcome to attend the vigil which will take place indoors at the Vegreville Cultural Association at 6:00 PM (doors open 5:30 PM). Together we will pay tribute to the courage of the Ukrainian people, honour the memory of thousands of civilians and armed forces who have perished, and build hope for the future of Ukraine and all Ukrainians. We will witness a live video feed with a battalion on the eastern front.
Attendees are encouraged to wear embroidered clothing, bring flags, and light battery-powered candles.
