Dear member of the Ukrainian Community,

We hope you’re doing well and staying safe during the pandemic. Ukrainian Canadian Congress Alberta Provincial Council continues to work with the community in order to bring more relevant resources. We are beginning new projects going into the new year that relate to the pandemic. We want to share with you!

Our resilient stories project invites members of the community to share stories or works of art depicting instances of resilience (either as experienced by the creator of the work, a family member or friend of theirs, or a story they heard in the community). 

We invite you and your organization to participate in the initiatives. These stories and works of art will be compiled into a printed and digital journal to be shared with the community. 

Please share our call for submissions in the form of a story/poem/essay with a maximum of 750 words or a piece of visual art or photograph, accompanied by an explanation of 250 words or less. The call for submissions is open and encouraged for people of all ages – from children to seniors.

Submissions can be sent to info@archive.uccab.ca, or arrangements can be made to digitize or record them.
