On Monday, November 28, 2011, a Special Commemoration Ceremony was held at the Legislative Assembly of Alberta to mark the 3rd Anniversary of the passage of the Ukrainian Famine and Genocide (Holodomor) Memorial Day Act – as sponsored by Hon. Gene Zwozdesky, MLA.
Oh, Canada! and Sche ne vmerla Ukrajiny national anthems of Canada and Ukraine, andZhuravli song performed by students from St. Martin and St. Matthew Ukrainian Bilingual Schools in Edmonton.
