Thank you for joining UCC-APC in celebrating Ukrainian Independence Day on Sunday, August 19th, 2018 at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village!
Focusing on a theme of “Going Forward, Йдем Вперед! Looking at our future and celebrating our youth!”, this year’s Independence Day/ Ukrainian Day, 2018 featured:
- Performances from Euphoria Band, Volya, Cheremosh, RUTA, and Canadian Idol finalist – Theresa Sokyrka!
- Displays and demonstrations at the Sil’ska Domivka
- Tours of the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village historical site – go back in time
- An outdoor market, where you can stock up on a few things for the pantry
- The unveiling of the last plaques for the Centenary Pioneer Project
UCC-APC is also pleased to announce this years Luchkovich Award Recipient, Janice Sarch, former MLA for Edmonton-Decore from 2008 to 2015.
