This project is an exhibition of unissued diplomas to students who put their education on hold to protect their country, Ukraine. These diplomas will never be issued, as the students expected to get them died in the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. These students will never became graduates.
They sacrificed their education, life goals, aspirations and dreams for the sake of their country. We are creating this exhibition to remind about the ongoing war and the price Ukraine, as a nation, is paying daily.
Through the Unissued Diplomas, the exhibition will uncover the stories of 20 Ukrainian students killed in the war. Thousands more stories remain untold.
