On October 10, 2022, we witnessed an escalation of the war and continuous horrifying airstrikes across Ukraine. Russia terrorized multiple bridges, residential buildings and energy grids in this attack. Unfortunately, although horrific, it is not shocking that this behaviour is routine for Russia. Putin must be held accountable for his war crimes and tried accordingly to stop the bloodshed of innocent Ukrainian lives.

The UCC-APC condemns this war and the war crimes that are being committed against our people, we ask the federal government of Canada and other countries to respond by designating Russia as a terrorist state, providing air and missile defence systems and increasing support for Ukraine and Ukrainians.
