Apr 19 – UCC-APC Board of Directors Member, UCSS President, former MLA and Minister Mr. Bill DIACHUK was introduced to members and guests of the Alberta Assembly as a Stars of Alberta Volunteer Award recipient during the National Volunteer Week.This award recognizes extraordinary Albertans whose volunteer achievements have contributed to the well being of their community(from Alberta Hansard, April 19, 2010, p.805). The UCC-APC Executive, the Board of Directors and staff salute Bill!

The UCC-APC was organized in 1974 as a non-profit society, and today represents over 400,000 Ukrainian Canadians before the people and Government of Alberta.
