UCC-APC is pleased to announce Ukrainian Day, Shades of Shevchenko, 2014 on Sunday, August 10, 2014
at the Ukrainian Cultural Heritage Village
This year Cheremosh and Zhyto will be entertaining us at the Band Shell concert at 2:00 p.m. Other performers taking part are the Zbytochnyky and the “Zabava v Koli”
In the Sil’ska Domivka, there will be a Shevchenko Exhibit, prepared by the Ukrainain Women’s Organization of Edmonton and Plast – Edmonton.
We will also have crafts, soccer games , and the big Village Race, for children, youth and all members of your family!
Come for the pancake breakfast and stay for a whole day of fun and activities.
Special ceremonies include the unveiling of centenary plaques, prayers at the memorial monument, chernobyl cross and the internment monument will take place starting at 11:15 am.
